Have Your Say: The Future of Vape Packaging, Appearance and Display

The vaping industry is facing more potential changes, and the Government is asking the public to share their views on proposed rules around the packaging, appearance and display of tobacco and vape products.

A new consultation has been launched by the Department of Health and Social Care, giving customers, businesses and members of the public the opportunity to provide feedback before any decisions are made.

The proposals cover areas including:

  • How vape products are packaged and presented
  • Product colours, branding and design features
  • Flavour descriptions and product names
  • How products are displayed in shops
  • The use of screens and device features

The consultation is part of wider government plans around tobacco and vaping regulation, and your feedback can help shape how these products are regulated in the future.

Why your opinion matters

Whether you vape, have previously smoked or quitting, work in the industry, or simply have an interest in how products are regulated, this is your opportunity to share your views directly with the Government.

The consultation is straightforward to complete, with each question allowing you to select from Agree, Neither agree nor disagree, Disagree, or Don't know. There is also an optional comment box if you would like to provide further feedback or explain your views. You do not need to complete every section, and the full consultation takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete depending on how much detail you choose to include.
