1. Charge your vape kit — Fully charge the device using a USB-C cable before your first use.
2. Unpack and fit your pod — Remove a fresh Tappo pod from its packaging, peel off any protective stickers or seals, and place it into the device until it clicks securely into position. The magnetic fit keeps it stable while you vape.
3. Break the freshness seal — Push firmly on the base of the pod to release the e-liquid into the coil. You may hear a small click as the seal breaks.
4. Let the coil soak — Wait around 5–10 seconds so the coil can absorb the e-liquid fully. This prevents a burnt taste and ensures smooth flavour from the first puff.
5. Inhale to start vaping — Draw through the mouthpiece to activate. The Tappo is inhale-activated, so there are no buttons or settings to adjust.

Each prefilled pod contains 2ml of 20mg (2%) nic salt e-liquid, giving you up to 600 puffs. With two pods in every pack, that’s around 1,200 puffs in total.

A burnt taste usually means the e-liquid inside the pod has run out, so the coil is heating with nothing to vaporise. Swap it for a fresh pod to enjoy full flavour.

It could also be caused by:

• Not breaking the freshness seal — If the seal isn’t pushed in properly, the coil won’t get saturated with e-liquid.
• Not allowing the coil to soak — After breaking the seal, wait at least 5–10 seconds before your first puff to let the coil fully absorb the liquid.
• Vaping too quickly — Taking repeated puffs in quick succession can cause the coil to overheat and produce a burnt taste. Try spacing out your inhales.
• Expired or old pods — Pods that have been stored for a long time may lose flavour or thicken, leading to a dry hit.
